Roadwork disruptions planned for Gdańsk and Olsztyn

Various roadworks and traffic changes are scheduled for the Polish cities of Gdańsk and Olsztyn.

In Gdańsk, construction on Grunwaldzka Avenue will begin on Friday, October 30. The project, managed by the Gdańsk Road Authority and executed by STRABAG, involves replacing the surface and curbs of the Jaśkowa Dolina 03 bus bay. During this time, the bus stop will be temporarily relocated toward Oliwa, utilizing existing parking spaces. Consequently, some parking spots along the avenue will be unavailable. Work is scheduled from 6:00 to 14:00 on weekdays.

In the Olsztyn region, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has announced traffic changes on National Road 16 (DK16) between Olsztyn Wschód and Barczewo. On Tuesday, October 27, shuttle traffic (ruch wahadłowy) will be implemented in Wójtowo near the intersection of DK16 with Modrzewiowa and Klonowa streets. These disruptions are expected to last until late afternoon, potentially causing delays and queues.
