Roadwork in Poland triggers public transport changes

Infrastructure projects in Poland are leading to significant changes in local public transport and traffic flow. In Stary Fordon, roadwork on Wyzwolenia Street is nearing completion. The renovated section from Bydgoska Street to Pielęgniarska Street features a new bituminous surface reinforced with a mesh to prevent rutting and reduce vibrations. As a result, bus lines 40, 65, 81, and 82 are scheduled to return to their permanent routes on September 19, with the night line 33N following on the night of September 19 to 20. Additional resurfacing is ongoing on Poznańska and Geodetów streets.

In Bełchatów, road repairs on 1-go Maja Street will cause temporary disruptions starting September 22. The section from Kaczorowskiego roundabout to Dąbrowskiego Street will be closed to general traffic for approximately two weeks, with access restricted to residents and supply vehicles. This closure necessitates diversions for MZK bus lines 2, 3, and 10. Specific stops, such as 1-go Maja/stadion and 1-go Maja/hala sportowa, will be temporarily out of service during this period.
