Roadwork projects in Guérande and Vosges cause traffic closures

Various roadwork projects in France will result in local traffic disruptions. In Guérande, Avenue Anne de Bretagne will be closed in both directions from September 14 to September 18, 2026. The work, managed by CapAtlantique La Baule-Guérande Agglo, involves connecting the new ‘Ruche’ facility—part of the Bois Rochefort school group rehabilitation—to the sewage network. While access to certain businesses, the post office, and the Athanor cultural center will be maintained, parking under the Coulée verte will be prohibited.

In the Vosges department, the RD 8 road will undergo significant resurfacing and gutter repairs between Col de Martimpré and Saut des Cuves. Starting September 7, traffic will be completely prohibited on this 1.845 km stretch for approximately three weeks, depending on weather conditions. The €620,000 project is being undertaken by the Vosges departmental council to maintain safe and durable road infrastructure.
