Roadwork projects trigger nighttime traffic restrictions in France and Canada

Multiple roadwork projects in France and Canada will result in nighttime traffic restrictions and closures throughout late September and October 2026.

In Seine-Maritime, France, maintenance on the A28 motorway between Isneauville and Quincampoix is scheduled from September 28 to October 23. Work will occur nightly from 18:30 to 06:00, involving traffic shifts on a seven-kilometer stretch in the Rouen–Abbeville direction. Additionally, the Quincampoix rest area will be closed from September 28 until October 16. Near Le Havre, the Brèque viaduct on the RN282 will face full closures for two nights, September 23–24 and September 24–25, between 21:00 and 06:00.

In Quebec, Canada, asphalt work on Highway 15 South will cause nighttime closures of Boulevard Marie-Victorin near the Samuel-de-Champlain Bridge from September 28 to October 7. Closures will run from 22:00 to 05:00 on weekdays and until 07:00 on weekends. While local access for residents will be maintained via detours, specific ramps and service roads will be redirected to accommodate the construction.
