Roadwork scheduled for Berks County and Camden County

Various road maintenance and construction projects are scheduled for the week of October 26–30, 2026, across Berks County, Pennsylvania, and Camden County, New Jersey.

In Berks County, PennDOT will conduct bridge repairs on US 422 West between Lancaster Avenue and Penn Street, with westbound lane restrictions during daytime hours. Pothole patching is planned for Interstate 176 between Exit 11 and Exit 1, involving nighttime lane restrictions. Additionally, road sign work will occur on Interstate 78 near Bethel Township, and shoulder widening is scheduled for Route 501.

In Camden County, several projects will impact local traffic. East Atlantic Avenue in Audubon will face lane closures, while PSE&G will implement a lane shift on Ferry Avenue. Haddon Avenue will experience shoulder closures and full road closures at various intersections. River Avenue will also see full road closures and lane shifts near the Conrail Railroad tracks. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and use caution in work zones.
