Roadworks and traffic adjustments announced in Greece and Cyprus

Various roadworks and traffic adjustments are scheduled in Greece and Cyprus.

In Greece, NEA ODOS has announced traffic regulations on the Athens-Lamia motorway to facilitate safety works. From September 2 until October 3, 2026, lane closures will occur on the lane heading towards Lamia between kilometer 50.8 and 54.1. These works are scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 18:00 to 06:00 the following morning.

In Cyprus, the Forest Department is conducting watering works on embankments along several motorways. From July 27 through September 30, 2026, partial closures of 300-meter sections will occur Monday through Thursday between 08:30 and 14:30. Affected routes include the Larnaca Airport–Paralimni motorway, the Larnaca–Kofinou motorway, the Larnaca–Ammochostos motorway, and the Larnaca–Nicosia motorway. Additionally, works are scheduled on the old Larnaca–Kofinou road through September 25, 2026.
