Roadworks in Gniezno and Gdańsk cause traffic disruptions
Various roadworks and infrastructure projects are causing significant traffic and public transport disruptions in parts of Poland.
In Gniezno, the second stage of a roundabout reconstruction has led to the closure of Witkowska Street from the shopping mall entrance to the Gniezno Olympic Roundabout. Starting August 12, drivers cannot enter the roundabout toward Witkowska Street. Public transport lines 9, 17, and N are operating on diverted routes, bypassing several stops on Witkowska Street.
In Gdańsk, specifically in the Oliwa district, surface repairs on Opata Jacka Rybińskiego Street have implemented one-way traffic from Polanki Street toward Grunwaldzka Avenue. The project, expected to last approximately three weeks, affects several bus lines, including 117, 169, 171, 179, 622, N1, and N4. Temporary stops have been established to accommodate these changes.
