Roadworks scheduled for Limassol–Paphos and Limassol–Nicosia highways

The Department of Public Works has announced a series of roadworks affecting the Limassol–Paphos and Limassol–Nicosia highways between October 29 and November 26.

From October 29 to November 6, the Forestry Department will conduct irrigation works on the central median of the Limassol–Paphos highway toward Paphos. These works, occurring between 08:30 and 14:30 on weekdays, will involve partial closures of the fast lane for stretches of three kilometers, diverting traffic to the slow lane between Petra tou Romiou and the Kition terminal junction.

On October 31, drainage gutter cleaning will take place on the Limassol–Nicosia highway between the Skriniou and Germasogeia junctions. This work will affect the emergency lane for approximately 200 meters, though main traffic flow is expected to remain uninterrupted.

Additionally, night works for the replacement of safety barriers are scheduled from November 9 to November 26. These operations will occur between 20:00 and 05:30 on weekdays on both the Limassol–Nicosia and Limassol–Paphos highways, specifically from the Skriniou junction to the Petra tou Romiou exit. During these times, one lane will be partially closed for roughly 200 meters, with traffic diverted to the adjacent lane.
