Rob Antonson explains controversial Survivor Season 51 exit

Rob Antonson, a contestant on Survivor Season 51, has addressed his sudden departure from the competition following a controversial Tribal Council. During the episode, Antonson attempted to cast a vote for himself, an action that left his fellow contestants and viewers stunned.

In subsequent interviews, Antonson clarified that his exit was driven by a foot injury sustained on the third day of filming. He explained that he had been managing the pain in silence without informing production or his tribe, which contributed to the perception that he had simply quit or was faking the injury. Antonson admitted that his decision to not speak up about the injury was his own fault, noting that he grew up believing in dealing with challenges privately.
