Rob Gronkowski discusses past media criticism and Tom Brady

Former NFL player Rob Gronkowski has addressed past media criticism regarding his off-field lifestyle and discussed his former teammate Tom Brady.

Speaking on The Dan Patrick Show, Gronkowski described media scrutiny of his partying habits as ‘a little ridiculous.’ He maintained that while his off-field personality was brash, he ensured his actions were safe and always arrived prepared to perform on the field. He noted that his personality off the field often mirrored his competitive nature during games.

In a separate appearance on TODAY With Jenna and Sheinelle, Gronkowski commented on the qualities former teammate Tom Brady should look for in a partner. He suggested Brady needs someone with ‘very positive energy’ who is ‘sweet’ and has a ‘great soul,’ jokingly comparing the ideal qualities to those of his own mother.
