Robberies Hit Universo Paint Store and Club El Globo in Argentina

A thief smashed the entrance of a Universo paint store in the 27 de Febrero y Lagos neighbourhood with bricks, broke the door and stole about 250,000 Argentine pesos, a mobile phone and other merchandise. Surveillance video captured the brief, early‑morning raid and police are reviewing the footage to identify the perpetrator.

In a separate incident, burglars broke into Club El Globo in Rivadavia during the early hours, forcing the cantina lock, and stole eight footballs along with cases of wine and beer. The club caretaker discovered the loss at dawn and filed a police report; the UFI Property Crimes Unit is now investigating.
