Robbie Williams reflects on Take That tensions during Sardinia concert
During an exclusive performance at the Big Art Festival held at the Hotel Romazzino in Sardinia, British singer Robbie Williams reflected on long-standing tensions from his time with the boy band Take That. Performing for approximately 300 guests, Williams revisited a specific incident involving the song ‘Relight My Fire’.
He recounted how, despite being granted the lead vocals for that track, he was quickly moved away from the microphone so that fellow band member Gary Barlow could take over the part. Williams expressed that the experience remains a source of frustration decades later.
The high-end event featured ticket prices ranging from 3,500 to 7,000 euros. Despite sustaining a calf muscle injury during his dance routines, Williams proceeded with the nearly two-hour set, which also included personal reflections on his family.
