Robecco sul Naviglio celebrates 50 years of Monsignor Carlo Faccendini’s priesthood

The community of Robecco sul Naviglio celebrated the 50th anniversary of Monsignor Carlo Faccendini’s priestly ordination. The event took place during the patronal feast of San Giovanni Battista at the parish church.

Born in Robecco in 1952, Monsignor Faccendini was ordained in 1976. Throughout his career, he held significant roles within the Archdiocese of Milan, including serving as the Abbot of the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio. The celebration included a solemn Mass co-celebrated with parish priest Don Simone Garavaglia and the presentation of a new icon dedicated to San Giovanni Battista.
