Robert Abela and Malta Chamber meet to outline Malta's strategic priorities

Prime Minister Robert Abela spent a day on Gozo visiting the family-run Eman Patisserie, meeting Victoria Mayor Brian Azzopardi and local councillors, and touring the Dar Emmaus emergency shelter. He announced more than €565,000 in funding for the shelter under a 2025‑2027 partnership, emphasizing support for vulnerable residents and the island’s economy.

Separately, the Malta Chamber held high‑level meetings with Prime Minister Abela, several government ministers, Opposition leader Alex Borg and shadow ministers. The discussions focused on Malta’s strategic agenda for the next five years, covering the economic model, productivity, traffic, tourism, energy, education, infrastructure, planning, and the need for transparency and good governance. Both events reflect a coordinated effort to strengthen Malta’s economic competitiveness and social services.
