Robert De Niro criticizes Donald Trump at New York rallies
Actor Robert De Niro delivered a series of sharp critiques against President Donald Trump during political events in New York City. At a ‘Hand off our vote’ rally in Washington Square Park, De Niro urged citizens to vote in the upcoming November 3 midterm elections to reclaim control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Alongside actor Mark Ruffalo, De Niro criticized the administration’s policies and expressed concerns regarding voting access and the integrity of the electoral process.
In a separate but related focus during the protests, De Niro accused Trump of being the ‘chief protector’ of the late Jeffrey Epstein. The actor demanded the immediate release of remaining files related to the Epstein investigation, questioning what the administration might be hiding. Activists utilized a mobile library truck to display documents and highlight the relationship between Trump and Epstein. While the U.S. Department of Justice has released approximately 3.5 million files, organizers claim millions more remain undisclosed.
