Robert Eggers' 'Werwulf' horror film set for Jan 2027 release

Robert Eggers' upcoming horror movie "Werwulf" is a medieval werewolf tale set in 13th‑century England. The film stars Aaron Taylor‑Johnson as the cursed farmer, Willem Dafoe as a ruthless hunter, and Lily‑Rose Depp as his wife. Produced by Universal Pictures, the script was co‑written with Icelandic poet Sjón and is described by Eggers as his darkest and most dramatic work yet.
