Robert Eggers' 'Werwulf' Trailer Unveiled

The first full trailer for Robert Eggers' period horror film Werwulf has been released by Focus Features. Set in 13th‑century England, the movie follows a cursed farmer‑turned‑creature played by Aaron Taylor‑Johnson, with Lily‑Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe and Ralph Ineson among the cast. The trailer showcases the film’s fog‑laden countryside, dialogue in Middle English, and Eggers’ signature dark visual style.

Werwulf was shot in the United Kingdom at Elstree Studios, locations in Wales and the Forest of Dean, and is scheduled to open worldwide on 25 December 2026. The production reunites Taylor‑Johnson and Depp with Eggers after their work on the director’s 2024 film Nosferatu.
