Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appoints adviser to investigate military vaccine deaths

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has appointed Lt. Col. Theresa Long as a senior medical military adviser to investigate claims regarding COVID-19 vaccine-related deaths among U.S. Army service members.

According to legal depositions, Long is investigating 2,544 deaths and 55,000 reports of adverse effects recorded in the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The investigation is being supported by both the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense. Long, an Army doctor board-certified in aerospace medicine, testified that she personally knows 28 individuals who died from the vaccines.

The investigation follows the rescinding of the military vaccine mandate in early 2023. Long’s testimony was provided as part of a lawsuit filed by former CIA physician Dr. Terry Adirim. Long stated she aims to complete the investigation within one year.
