RFK Jr. faces MAHA backlash and ethics scrutiny

Leaders within the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement have issued an open letter to President Donald Trump and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., warning of ‘political consequences’ if the administration fails to take decisive action against mRNA vaccine technology. Signatories, including Tucker Carlson and Rep. Thomas Massie, accused the administration of a ‘bait and switch,’ alleging that core policy goals regarding the removal of mRNA platforms have been sidelined in favor of less impactful issues.

Separately, Secretary Kennedy has announced several new HHS initiatives. These include a formal request for information to investigate the potential health impacts of electromagnetic radiation and radiofrequencies from wireless technologies. Kennedy also announced plans to transition biomedical research away from animal testing toward human-based scientific models.

Kennedy is also facing scrutiny regarding ethics and spending. Reports indicate that approximately $12 million was diverted from the HHS Office of Minority Health to cover rising security costs for the Secretary. Additionally, financial disclosures revealed that Kennedy received significant gifts, including luxury flights to Fiji and Greece from a security consultant.
