Robert Fico expresses intention to visit Serbia this week

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has announced his hope to visit Serbia within the coming week to make up for a previously canceled trip. Fico had originally planned to attend a gathering for the ‘Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia’ list at the Belgrade Arena on October 3, but was forced to cancel due to a severe virus.

In a social media message, Fico expressed his support for Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, describing him as an ‘extraordinary Serbian statesman.’ He noted that Serbia has the right to pursue a sovereign policy and make its own choices, emphasizing the strength the country has gained over the past 15 years. Fico also joked about his recovery, noting that his voice currently sounds like a ‘leaky pot,’ which may limit the length of his speeches.
