Robert Garside, known as ‘The Running Man’, completed a historic journey running and walking a total of 56,327 kilometers around the world. His expedition lasted over 2,062 days.
The journey began on October 20, 1997, at the India Gate in New Delhi, India. Garside aimed to become the first person in history to complete a continuous closed-loop route around the globe on foot, a feat many experts initially considered impossible.
