Robert Irwin to host 66th annual TV WEEK Logie Awards

The 66th annual TV WEEK Logie Awards will be hosted by Robert Irwin this Sunday. Irwin expressed that hosting the event is a way to pay tribute to his late father, Steve Irwin, who was previously inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame.

In addition to hosting, Robert Irwin has been nominated for a Gold Logie. The awards ceremony features several notable nominations with significant LGBTQIA+ representation, including the Prime Video comedy ‘Deadloch’, which has multiple nominations for acting and scriptwriting, and the SBS drama ‘Homebodies’, which focuses on a trans man. Other notable nominees include the Netflix series ‘Heartbreak High’.
