Robert Irwin to host Australian Ninja Warrior reboot and 2026 Logie Awards

Conservationist and TV personality Robert Irwin has been announced as a host for two major Australian television events. He will join Georgie Tunny and former competitor Beau Ryan on the rebooted Australian Ninja Warrior series, set to return to Channel 10 in 2027. Irwin said he is “excited to share moments of determination and resilience with audiences across Australia.”

Irwin will also host the 2026 TV Week Logie Awards on 16 August, becoming the youngest presenter in more than two decades and the first host nominated for the Gold Logie in the same year. He emphasized that his focus is on “bringing fun and passion” and using his platform to promote environmental awareness, stating, “Our planet cannot afford to listen to anyone who’s trying to get in the way of that sort of message.”
