Robert Kiyosaki calls falling gold prices a buying opportunity
Investor Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” said the recent decline in gold and silver prices presents a chance to buy. He stressed that price alone is not enough to decide, comparing it to a house‑price drop that must be assessed against neighborhood trends. Kiyosaki noted that most of his existing gold holdings were bought when prices were around $300 per ounce and that he now watches technical indicators to time any additional purchases.
He reiterated his long‑term confidence in precious metals, saying, “I may be wrong, but I still see gold and silver on the brink of a long‑term uptrend,” and cited a forecast that gold could reach $35,000 in the near future. Kiyosaki also warned that global sovereign debt is forming a massive bubble that could burst, reinforcing his view that gold and silver remain key stores of value amid economic uncertainty.
