Robert Lambert wins British Individual Speedway Championship
Robert Lambert has claimed the British Individual Speedway Championship title following a dominant performance at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester. Lambert secured the victory with a score of 15+3, winning all five of his heats.
Charles Wright took second place with 11+2 points, while Leon Flint earned the bronze medal with 10+2 points. The competition featured a mix of veteran riders and emerging talent, including 16-year-old Cooper Rushen, who performed strongly throughout the event.
The victory grants Lambert a wild card for next year’s British Grand Prix, also held in Manchester. The championship took place amidst the absence of Daniel Bewley, who was sidelined due to injury.
