Robert Lewandowski and Chicago Fire suffer defeat to New England Revolution

Robert Lewandowski and his Chicago Fire side suffered a 1-2 defeat against the New England Revolution, ending a recent unbeaten streak. The 38-year-old striker, who has recorded seven goals and two assists in 13 MLS and Leagues Cup appearances, was noted by analysts and journalists for having a quiet match with limited impact on the game.

Journalist Mateusz Borek criticized the quality of play, describing it as “backyard football” and noting Lewandowski’s frequent gesturing to teammates. Experts suggested that the team is still adjusting to Lewandowski’s role as a traditional number nine compared to previous attackers like Hugo Cuypers.

Parallel to his football career, Anna Lewandowska continues to expand her fitness and lifestyle business empire. Following the family's move to Chicago, she has been active on social media, sharing updates on her life in the United States and announcing her upcoming participation in a HYROX Camp in Poland this September.
