Former Olympian Wojciech Kowalczyk said the player “does not need money for its own sake” and suggested that the United States could offer family-friendly conditions and a suitable schedule ahead of the European championship. Marketing analysts also debate whether a transfer to MLS would significantly boost Lewandowski’s brand in the U.S., given the sport’s relatively modest popularity there.
