Robert Mazurek criticizes KOR anniversary organizers over missing founders
Journalist Robert Mazurek has sparked controversy following his comments regarding the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Workers' Defence Committee (KOR). During a broadcast on Kanał Zero, Mazurek criticized the organizers for allegedly failing to invite two of the last living founders of KOR, Antoni Macierewicz and Piotr Naimski, noting that other political figures like Donald Tusk and Adam Michnik were in attendance.
Mazurek stated that he based his claims on direct communication with Macierewicz and Naimski, both of whom indicated they had not received invitations. In response to the criticism, the Office for Combatants and Repressed Persons stated that invitations had been sent to Macierewicz on September 11, but they were not collected. Despite these explanations, Mazurek maintained his stance, refusing to apologize for his harsh criticism of the organizers.
