Robert Morales returns to Paraguay national team

Robert Morales, the striker for Mexico's Pumas UNAM, has returned to the Paraguay national football team following a recovery from a significant knee ligament injury sustained in 2021. Morales expressed deep emotion regarding his recall, noting that his return serves as a personal redemption after his previous stint was cut short during a match against Ecuador.

Morales highlighted his motivation to be part of the squad that recently secured Paraguay's qualification for the World Cup. The national team is scheduled to play a friendly match against Colombia on Friday, October 2, at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey as part of their tour in the United States.
