Robert Pattinson Insists on Reading Script and Requests Leopard‑Print Underwear for Nolan's 'The Odyssey

Actor Robert Pattinson told GQ that, unlike his co‑stars, he asked director Christopher Nolan to let him read the script for the upcoming film The Odyssey before committing. Nolan was taken aback, noting that the rest of the ensemble – including Matt Damon, Tom Holland and Anne Hathaway – had agreed to join without seeing the screenplay.

Pattinson also made an unusual costume request, asking to wear leopard‑print underwear that would be visible under his wardrobe. The request was denied by the film’s costume department. The Odyssey, a modern adaptation of Homer's epic, is slated for release on July 17, 2026 and features a star‑studded cast under Nolan’s direction.
