Robert Pattinson discusses major shift for The Batman Part II

Robert Pattinson has indicated that “The Batman Part II” will represent a significant departure from the 2022 original. Describing the sequel as “very ambitious,” Pattinson noted that director Matt Reeves has written an extremely complex script with numerous characters and narrative threads.

While the film aims to maintain the atmosphere of the first installment, Pattinson suggested the new direction will be distinct. The production is currently underway in the United Kingdom. The cast features returning actors Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell, alongside new additions Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan.

Due to scheduling and production shifts, the film's release date has been moved to February 18, 2028. Additionally, Pattinson expressed doubts regarding the possibility of integrating his specific version of Bruce Wayne into the broader DC Universe (DCU) led by James Gunn, citing the unique style and specific world established by Reeves.
