Robert Pattinson teases radical creative shift for The Batman: Part II

Robert Pattinson has described the upcoming sequel, ‘The Batman: Part II’, as a ‘radical retelling’ that will take the character in a significantly different creative direction than the 2022 film.

Speaking about director Matt Reeves’ screenplay, Pattinson noted that the script is difficult to reinvent but manages to move the story in a totally different direction. The actor indicated that even the raw production footage looks noticeably different from the first installment. While specific plot details remain under wraps, Pattinson expressed confidence that audiences will be excited by this new approach.

Matt Reeves returns to direct the sequel, with Pattinson reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The cast also includes Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Charles Dance, though their specific roles have not been disclosed. The film is currently scheduled for release on February 18, 2028.
