Robert Plant and Saving Grace announce digital EP release

Robert Plant and his band, Saving Grace, will release the digital EP ‘Saving Grace: All That Glitters...’ on October 9 via Nonesuch Records. The four-track collection, which was previously released as a vinyl EP for Record Store Day, features traditional tunes ‘The Blackest Crow’ and ‘Two Coats,’ alongside Gillian Welch’s ‘Orphan Girl’ and Bert Jansch’s ‘Poison.’

A music video for the song ‘Two Coats’ has been released to accompany the announcement. The EP continues the exploration of folk, blues, gospel, and Americana music established by the group, which includes vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown.

In addition to the release, the Americana Music Association is set to honor Plant with a Lifetime Achievement Award on September 16 at the Ryman Auditorium. Plant and Saving Grace are also scheduled for the ‘Up the Sharp End’ US tour, running from September 18 to October 15, featuring special guest Rosie Flores.
