Robert Prosinečki biography presented at Mediterranean Book Festival

The ninth Mediterranean Book Festival in Split concluded with the presentation of ‘Veliki žuti’, a biography of renowned footballer Robert Prosinečki written by sports journalist Dražen Krušelj. During the event, Prosinečki shared anecdotes from his extensive career, including his experiences playing under coaches like Johan Cruyff and his time with teammates such as Dejan Savičević at Red Star Belgrade.

Prosinečki reflected on the challenges of adapting to different environments, noting that his time at Standard Liège was particularly difficult. When discussing his career, he jokingly remarked, “Only that was missing,” in reference to the fact that he never played for the club Hajduk Split.

In addition to the football biography, the festival program featured a presentation of ‘Od čega bute vi umrli?’, a collection of stories from twelve women living with cancer, presented by members of the association ‘Nismo same’.
