Robert Shrader sentenced to four years for hospital recording felonies
Robert Shrader, 41, has pleaded guilty to seven felony counts of invasive visual recording in a bathroom or dressing room. The offenses occurred at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.
Shrader was sentenced to four years in a Texas state jail facility. The court ordered two maximum two-year sentences to run consecutively, to be served day-for-day. Shrader has waived his right to appeal, making the convictions and sentence final.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office stated that the resolution was reached in consultation with the victims to protect their privacy and avoid the intrusion of a public trial. District Attorney Mike Holley and Chief Prosecutor Adam McLane noted that the sentence holds Shrader accountable for abusing a position of trust.
