Robert Tieman nominated as new BBB deputy in South Holland

Former Minister Robert Tieman has been nominated by the BBB faction as the new deputy in South Holland. If approved by the Provincial Council next Wednesday, he will succeed Mariëtte van Leeuwen in the provincial executive.

Tieman will be responsible for key portfolios, including provincial finances and the nitrogen approach. He previously served as the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management in the caretaker cabinet from June last year until March of this year. His political background also includes a position on the daily board of the Delfland Water Board.
