Robert Virves Takes WRC2 Lead After Winning Greek Rally

Estonian driver Robert Virves secured victory in the WRC2 class of the Greek World Rally Championship round, moving into the overall WRC2 lead. After a challenging start that saw his foot caught between pedals and a later tyre puncture, Virves and co‑driver Jakko Viilo managed to finish ahead of former leader Andreas Mikkelsen, who required a tyre change during the final stages. Virves' performance earned him maximum points, positioning him at the top of the WRC2 standings ahead of the upcoming Rally Estonia.

Virves commented on the difficulty of the event, noting, "It wasn't the easiest rally, but we managed to stay consistent and finish strongly."
