Robert Wagner celebrates wife Jill St. John’s 86th birthday

Actor Robert Wagner, 96, shared a tribute on Instagram to celebrate his wife Jill St. John’s 86th birthday. Wagner posted a throwback photograph of the couple standing by a lake to commemorate the occasion, expressing that he feels “blessed to love you and to do life with you.”

The couple has been married since 1990, though their history dates back to the 1950s when they both worked as contract players at Fox. They reconnected in late 1981 following the death of Wagner’s wife, Natalie Wood. St. John, who was a childhood friend of Wood, sent Wagner flowers and a sympathy note after the tragedy, leading to a rekindled connection that eventually turned into a romance.

Jill St. John is widely recognized for her role as Tiffany Case in the 1971 James Bond film “Diamonds Are Forever,” making her the first American Bond girl.
