Roberta Miranda reveals she was not the biological daughter of her adoptive mother

Brazilian sertanejo singer Roberta Miranda revealed in an interview with TV Cultura’s program ‘Provoca’ that she discovered she was not the biological daughter of the woman who raised her. The singer explained that her brother disclosed the truth to her, leading to a period of emotional distress that she addressed through therapy.

Miranda recounted that her brother and father had taken her from the maternity ward wrapped in a newspaper because her biological mother was unable to provide for her. Despite the revelation regarding her origins, the artist emphasized that her feelings for the woman who raised her remained unchanged, noting that she fought to ensure that woman lived with dignity in her old age.
