Roberto Bozzi re-elected as Azione provincial secretary in Siena
Roberto Bozzi has been re-elected as the provincial secretary of Azione in Siena, with Giorgio Masina appointed as president. During the provincial congress held at the Confesercenti multi-functional hall, Bozzi outlined several key priorities for the territory.
Infrastructure projects highlighted include the doubling and electrification of the Empoli-Siena line up to Poggibonsi and Siena, the establishment of a Medioetruria station in Valdichiana to connect the province to high-speed rail, and improvements to the Cassia road for the Amiata area. Bozzi emphasized that modern roads and railways are essential for the development of local sectors such as life sciences, crystal production, and viticulture.
Regarding labor and industry, the party is calling for a binding industrial plan for the former Beko site to protect the remaining 148 workers, as well as attention to the Paycare dispute. Additionally, Bozzi advocated for the defense of employment and the maintenance of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) general management in Siena, regardless of future corporate structures.
