Roberto Cammarelle visits Porto Torres officials
Olympic boxing champion Roberto Cammarelle met with Porto Torres Mayor Massimo Mulas and Sports Councilor Antonello Cabitta at the Palazzo del Marchese. The visit follows Cammarelle’s recent role on the technical staff for the Italian boxing team at the XX Mediterranean Games in Taranto, where the team secured seven medals.
Cammarelle, a former super heavyweight, is the only Italian boxer to win medals in three different Olympic Games: bronze in Athens 2004, gold in Beijing 2008, and silver in London 2012. He also holds two amateur world titles from Chicago (2007) and Milan (2009). Currently, he serves as the technical director for the boxing sector of the Fiamme Oro State Police sports group.
