Roberto Cruz appointed to IMSS advisory council in Tamaulipas
Roberto Cruz Hernández has been appointed as the proprietary counselor for the employer sector to the Advisory Council of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Tamaulipas. The appointment was formalized by CONCANACO SERVYTUR México following a strategic consensus among the state's chambers of commerce.
Cruz Hernández, who also serves as the secretary of FECANACO in the state, aims to address critical issues facing the productive sector, including medicine shortages, a deficit of medical specialists, and infrastructure backlogs. He plans to conduct consultations with business organizations across all regions of Tamaulipas to unify demands and present them institutionally to the IMSS.
Dr. Dante Adalberto Hernández Arriaga has been named the substitute counselor. The appointment is viewed as a strategic recognition of Reynosa's role as a primary industrial and commercial driver in the state, ensuring that social security decisions align with the labor realities of the border region.
