Roberto Daprà wins 2026 Italian Rally Championship
Roberto Daprà and navigator Luca Guglielmetti have secured the 2026 Italian Absolute Rally Championship title. Driving a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, the duo clinched the championship at the 73rd Rallye Sanremo, the final event of the season, where they finished in second place.
Daprà, aged 25 years, 5 months, and 23 days, has become the youngest absolute Italian rally champion in history, surpassing the previous record held by Miki Biasion since 1983 by 132 days.
While Daprà secured the overall title, the Rallye Sanremo race itself was won by Fabio Andolfi and Marco Menchini in a Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally2 Integrale, narrowly beating the Daprà-Guglielmetti pair by 4.7 seconds.
