Tottenham Hotspur faces difficult start under Roberto De Zerbi

Tottenham Hotspur is facing a difficult start to the Premier League season under manager Roberto De Zerbi, remaining winless and failing to score a goal in their first three matches. Despite significant summer investment exceeding £300 million, the club sits near the bottom of the table following a 17th-place finish last season.

De Zerbi has addressed the team's struggles, specifically criticizing the finishing and decision-making of summer signing Omar Marmoush. The manager has also faced scrutiny regarding his management style and the pressure of the club's recent form. Amidst these challenges, the club is monitoring Mykhailo Mudryk, who is currently on loan from Chelsea, for a potential permanent transfer next year.

The squad is also dealing with various injury concerns. James Maddison is working toward a return following a shoulder injury, while Dejan Kulusevski has experienced a minor setback during his recovery from a long-term patella injury. The team is preparing for upcoming fixtures against Everton and Aston Villa as they attempt to find form.
