Roberto Espinosa wins Trucks México Series race in Puebla

Roberto “Bob” Espinosa secured victory at the Autódromo Internacional Miguel E. Abed in Puebla, winning the eighth round of the Trucks México Series 2026. In a highly competitive finish, Espinosa defeated Carlos Novelo by a margin of just 0.007 seconds during the final lap.

The race served as the conclusion of the regular season, determining the lineup for the upcoming Chase championship phase. By winning the event, Espinosa also clinched the position of regular season leader heading into the postseason.

Santiago Cruz, who had secured the pole position during qualifying, finished in third place after recovering from a drop to the back of the pack. The podium was completed by Espinosa, Novelo, and Cruz, marking one of the closest finishes of the season.
