Roberto Flores Zúñiga considers 2027 local deputy run

Roberto ‘Chalo’ Flores Zúñiga, the mayor of Xochitepec, has confirmed he is considering a run for a local deputy position in 2027 under the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) banner.

Flores Zúñiga stated he will wait for the official electoral calendar before making a formal decision. He noted that a successful campaign would require extensive territorial work across the six municipalities within the corresponding electoral district. The mayor also reaffirmed his loyalty to the PRI, defending the party's institutional structure and dismissing rumors of switching political affiliations.
