Roberto Garcia secures first WorldSSP victory at Magny-Cours

Roberto Garcia secured his first career victory in the FIM Supersport World Championship during Race 2 of the Acerbis French Round at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. Riding for GMT94 Yamaha, Garcia won a dramatic five-lap shootout following a red flag interruption caused by a crash from Tom Booth-Amos.

The race concluded with a high-stakes battle in the final corners. Can Öncü, who was leading at the time, made a mistake in the closing sector, allowing Garcia, Albert Arenas, and Valentin Debise to surge forward. Garcia crossed the finish line first, narrowly beating Arenas by 0.414 seconds. Debise completed the podium in third place.

With this win, Garcia becomes the sixth-youngest winner in the history of the class. The top five finishers were Roberto Garcia, Albert Arenas, Valentin Debise, Can Öncü, and Jeremy Alcoba.
