Roberto Lucchese proposes reuniting Vale do Taquari municipal associations

Roberto Lucchese, an elected state deputy, has proposed the reunification of municipal associations in the Vale do Taquari region. During a meeting with mayors in Arroio do Meio, Lucchese suggested that the Association of Municipalities of Vale do Taquari (Amvat) and the Association of Municipalities of Alto Taquari (Amat) should merge.

The two entities have been separate since 2021. Lucchese argued that a unified mobilization would strengthen the region's influence with both the state executive and legislative branches, ultimately better serving local demands.
