Roberto Massimo joins SV Wehen Wiesbaden on loan from Górnik Zabrze

Roberto Massimo has joined the German third-tier club SV Wehen Wiesbaden on loan from the Polish side Górnik Zabrze. The deal is set to last until the end of the 2026/27 season and does not include an option for a permanent transfer.

Massimo, a 24-year-old offensive player, holds experience in both the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, having previously played for clubs such as VfB Stuttgart, Arminia Bielefeld, and SpVgg Greuther Fürth. During his time with Górnik Zabrze, he played a notable role in the club's history by scoring the opening goal in the Polish Cup final against Raków Częstochowa, contributing to a 2-0 victory that secured the club's first national cup since 1972.

Despite his cup success, Massimo saw limited playing time in the Ekstraklasa, appearing in only 15 official matches for Zabrze. SV Wehen Wiesbaden's sporting director, Uwe Stöver, highlighted Massimo's dynamism, speed, and variability as key assets that will provide additional offensive options for the team.
