Roberto Melatini elected coordinator of Potenza Picena Civil Protection

Roberto Melatini has been elected as the new coordinator of the municipal Civil Protection group in Potenza Picena. He succeeds Carlo Carlini, who stepped down following an appointment to lead the provincial Democratic Party.

Melatini, 50, has been active in civil protection since 2008. His experience includes emergency response during the Central Italy earthquakes in areas such as Amatrice, Pescara del Tronto, Bolognola, and Pieve Torina, as well as flood relief operations in Senigallia.

In a meeting with Mayor Noemi Tartabini, provincial representative Cristiano Morresi, and local police commander Anna Mercuri, Melatini outlined his priorities. His primary goals include strengthening the municipal group by recruiting new volunteers and increasing public awareness of civil protection activities through community events and initiatives.
